Equivalent to first-year undergraduatesLiteracy level (Science and Engineering)

The goal is to acquire basic skills in mathematics, data science, and AI, and to acquire the basic skills to utilize them. The program has acquired MDASH Literacy certification (Approved Program for Mathematics, Data science and AI Smart Higher Education) in AY2022 and MDASH Literacy+ certification (Approved Program for Mathematics, Data science and AI Smart Higher Education) in AY2024.

Students enrolling in the undergraduate school program in AY2021 or later.

The completion requirements are to take and earn credits for the four science and engineering liberal arts courses (information), which are "Information Literacy I", "Information Literacy II", "Computer Science I", and "Computer Science II".

However, there are exceptions for undergraduate students enrolling before AY2023. Please contact us for details.

The following application and registration are needed for the course to be recognized as completed.

*Students enrolled in AY2024 or later are not required to register for (2) Educational Programs.

*You can register either before or after taking part or all of the courses required for completion.
Additional course registration is possible. In such cases, you must complete both (1) and (2) above. Performing only one will not be reflected to the other.

An open badge, as shown below, will be issued as a certicate electronically to those who have completed this program.

It is implemented based on the framework of this educational program.

Self-checks and evaluations are compiled to determine whether the educational program is being properly implemented and areas for further improvement.
